Wearable Art
MUUMBA is a bespoke line of African-inspired, lens-less frames by Sirlenda. Each handcrafted pair is one-of-one. No duplicates exist. Drawing from ancestral wisdom, textile traditions, and bold artistry, MUUMBA frames embody vision, strength, and identity. More than accessories, they are wearable declarations of heritage and self-expression.
Each pair of MUUMBA frames includes a hand-sewn pouch made from African fabric to protect and preserve your wearable art.

MUUMBA
Meaning "The Creator" in Swahili
I am an aspect of the Creator. Through my hands, my vision, and my gifts, I express my divine self by crafting wearable art infused with ancestral knowledge. In each frame, I weave intention, memory, and spirit. I see myself in all things, especially in the world around me, and MUUMBA is the reflection of that seeing, a creative force honoring both heritage and possibility.
Each Frame carries a name derived from Swahili, chosen with meaning, intention, and purpose. These names are more than labels; they are invocations, connecting the wearer to language , legacy, and spirit. Just as no two frames are alike, no name is without significance, making every MUUMBA piece both a work of art and a vessel of cultural storytelling.
